Matthew Croft - Software Engineer

Experience

Glatfelters Insurance

At Glatfelters Insurance, I broadened my skill set by working on full-stack applications. This experience gave me a deeper understanding of frontend and backend interactions, improving my ability to develop complete software solutions. Through this role, I refined my ability to bridge the gap between user interfaces and data management.

Amazon - Alexa Local Search Team

At Amazon, I played a key role in developing a testing tool for our data model on the Alexa Local Search team. This tool was instrumental in improving data accuracy and efficiency, and its impact was significant enough to be featured in a press release. Working in a fast-paced environment, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that enhanced user experiences.

Medallia

At Medallia, I worked as a backend engineer on a large-scale codebase, focusing on building RESTful APIs and implementing clean architecture patterns. I applied the controller-service-repository pattern to create well-structured, maintainable code that integrated seamlessly within a complex ecosystem. This experience strengthened my ability to design scalable and robust software solutions.
